Guest guest
I'm late for the party! Is there any ice cream left? If not, no matter can't eat it anyway. Glad to have read all the posts about shortness of breathe. I have just gone through pulmonary tests and nothing was found. Ho hum. I was promptly dismissed. After all these years that sort of thing still stings. I wish all of you better days than what has been in the past. Linna
Guest guest
Linna That's what is great about cyber ice cream - it lasts and everyone can eat it. It took me a few tries with pulmonologists to find one who was just willing to monitor me with pulmonary function tests and CAT scan every 6-12 months. Since I also have asthma, he addresses this as well. He is also my sleep doc. This was a case of finding someone local who isn't familiar with mito, but who wants to follow me and then he will refer if he finds something strange. At a major medical center I did have a very extensive pulmonary exercise test, which involved two tubes down my nose, heart leads, pedaling on an exercise bike with a tube in my mouth and blood gases being drawn. I'm glad they don't want to do that to monitor me on a regular basis - once was enough. laurie > I'm late for the party! Is there any ice cream left?
