new problems

Hi all

I may be quiet for a bit. I am struggling with shortness of breath,

worse than I have ever had. After an entire day of doctor's appts. and

tests yesterday, they decided it is probably my heart which appears to

be enlarged by X-ray. I have an echo scheduled for next week. I will

be reading but right now my blood gas site is really painful when I

type.

I need your thoughts. My blood pressure was high (148/102) so my blood

pressure med (Ace inhibitor) was doubled. I had been at a low dose, so

this took me to the normal dose. My bottom number has dropped to near

normal, but my top number continues to increase. Has this happened to

anyone else? It is only the first day on the increased dose. I was

also started back on Dyazid.

For those who don't already know, Kristie is back in the hospital to

have a new central line replaced - her old one got a hole in it.
