Guest guest Posted May 27, 2004 Report Share Posted May 27, 2004 - Have you had a chance to read any of the information in the MAGIC newsletters, or the postings here on the listserve about fundraising the money for airfare? We have scholarships that pay for hotel and registration, and easy fundraising methods for airfare. Out of our 20 or so scholarship families so far, more than half have fundraised their airfare. We have comprehensive information that can help you, and several moms have offered to give any advice as well ( Kearns for one). With regards to membership renewals, membership is on a calendar year, and renewal notices were mailed to everyone in November of 2003, and then again I just mailed a renewal notice about 4 weeks ago, and it had a letter from me with information about our plans for the upcoming year, and it had a separate letter about Dr. Harbison's move. If you have not gotten any of these, I would call MAGIC at 800-3MAGIC3 and ask them to investigate. You can ask them about applying for a free membership at that time as well. Good luck!!!
