I contacted Matt at Darifree and he avoided the question. He continued to

state that they would never place a toxic chemical in their products and that

the titanium dioxide is there to change the coloring to white instead of a

yellowy brown.

All the research I have done on this mineral states that it is used for

industrial usage the applications are to produce white in paints and

plastics. Titanium dioxide is also used to protect the skin from the sun.

In denistry it is used as an alloy chiefly for appliances and implants

because of its biological acceptance and resistance to corrosion.

Would you let your child use this? No way!

if it is safe to put on the skin and in the mouth? Of course, they also use

mercury in dental fillings and they are not safe.
