Things are going okay. My progesterone was low to start and dropped

from 7.9 last friday to 6.4 this Tuesday. I've been on progesterone

suppositories since Tuesday and they did another blood draw this

morning. The nurse said just last week a woman had a level of only 10

and 2 days of prog. supp. later she was at 50 so I am not worrying

myself crazy..well, not ALL the time anyway.

Seeing that little white speck of a heartbeat was the most reassuring

thing. Tomrrow morning marks the 7 week point. I am so glad I called

around and found the medical group I did. the first 2 places didn't

make first appts until you were 8-10 weeks and if I'd waited I'm sure

I would have lost this one like I've lost ones in the past.

My PCP had wanted to switch me to prenatal vitamins but the OB group

said with the tricky ways we malabsorb vitamins to stick with

Trinsicon for iron and b12s (and intrinsic factor) and just add 1 mg

folic acid and up my calcium to 1200 mg. They have had other gastric

bypass post-ops so I was reassured. My next OB appt is in 2 weeks

with another ultrasound. the blood tests will be twice a week until

my numbers raise enough to do once a week I think.

Anyway I just wanted to share our first picture :)
