,

I know you are having problems with the tube and gagging. You asked

a question about secrets of keeping the kids off of the tube. I just

wanted to encourage you as a mom who wishes we had a tube. My son

Matt is now 7 and a feeding therapist recently told me if she would

have seen him as a toddler he would have been a candidate for a

tube. But now, since we have basically force fed him his entire

life, he has tons of oral aversion issues and hates to eat. It the

single most frustrating part of my day. Just adds stress to the

whole house at a time when we should be sitting down and enjoying

each other.

I am not sure if there are any secrets to staying off of the tube,

but I for one, wish we would have had one years ago. Hang in there!
