Guest guest
My name is Pam and I had an open RNY gastric bypass about 1.5 years ago. My husband and I have 2 children; our daughter (bio) is 10 years old. She was born a preemie at 3 lb 2 oz due to me sever pre eclampsia. Our son (adopted) is 3 years old. After our daughter was born I had 2 m/c followed by three years of infertility so we turned to adoption. Just so you know I think adoption is a wonderful thing and would do it again in a heartbeat but it is VERY expensive. So now we are at the place of wanting to add to our family and want to try the old fashioned way again. My weight is now down to 140 lb (I would like to loss another 10-20 lb before conceiving) and hope it will now be possible for us to have another child. My main questions are Vitamins…what are you all taking and how much? I have just added folic acid, vit A & E to what I have already been taking. I just am not sure about the doses. Do we need more than what is recommended on the bottle? Also about delivery (with my daughter I had a c section, the bikini cut—like I could ever wear a bikini again LOL). What are most of you all experiencing vaginal or c section delivery? For my WLS I have a cut from my sternum to my belly button…is this a problem? Thanks, Pam
