Hi all. I found this group through the GBS family group. I am less

than a week pre-op, and one of the things I look forward to most is

having a baby. I am 34 years young (35 in October), and a biological

mother to an almost 18 yr old boy (placed for adoption). I just

wanted to say that I am soooooo thankful that this group exists, and

will be an active reader of all postings.

I dont know if this surgery will help with my fertility...though I

pray it does. Since the birth of my son, I had PID when I was 19,

thought I would never have children, and then from 1997-1999, I had

3 miscarriages within an 18 month period, possibly from undiagnosed

diabetes. So, at least I know conception is possible after the PID.

My son was born C-section, and I would like to have a natural

birth...which I know is possible. I hope to be able to breastfeed

also.

Anyways, good luck to all the mommies and mommies to be...I look

forward to joining your ranks in the next couple of years.
