Guest guest
Hi Moms, I have really enjoyed reading everyone's posts-decided it's time to ask a question that has been pressing for me. I had my surgery 6 months ago, and am down 60 pounds. Not as great as I had hoped, but still happy I did this! I haven't had my period for over 2 months now, and I'm at a loss as to what is going on. I have taken a bunch of home tests, and they have all shown negative. So my ob/gyn isn't concerned. Uggh! Her sugestion was to give me some drugs and told me if I havennn't stared in 20 days to call her back! Has this happened to anyone else? Sometimes I " feel " like I may be preg. but I'm just not convinced either way. I have one daughter, pre-op, who's almost 2 and even though I definitely want to have more children... I am hoping to wait a year or so. (Doctors orders, right? Besides I'd love to reach goal b4 gaining again) ) Ok, thank you for any advice you may have! ~ Dallas, TX
Guest guest
The same thing happened to me 15 months post-op. I kept taking home tests and they were all negative. After 3 months I insisted on a blood test and sure enough I was thee months pregnant! I took another home test after the blood test came back positive and it was still negative. Who knows!!!! Guest guest
, Definitely do NOT start the pills to make you start your period UNTIL you have a negative blood pregnancy test in case you are pregnant. Best wishes! Sheila
Guest guest
I did not start once before surgery for almost 5 months and the doc gave me little pills to take that got me started again. I did make sure they gave me an ultrasound first to look insdie to make sure there was no surprise there. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!!
