If so where would I find it? 2. * , hi I have been making my jello from scratch since LJ started this diet and I didn't want artificial colors, so I was using Knox, but now have stopped that after reading what was posted about gelatin , so I went out today and bought AGAR-AGAR ALAKES. They had different brands at the HFS, but I bought the one with a toll free # to it and I just got off the phone with the owner. The only ingredient in it is pure agar which is a type of seaweed, and it says it is definetly GFCF, no added anything. It is a product of Japan and was $5.75 for a 1 oz. bag of it, looks about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of it. It comes in a vacuum sealed bag. The brand I verified was KUSHI Traditional Agar-Agar Flakes distributed by MCOA in North Carolina. Good luck with your recipe!!!!!!! on Long Island New York * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
