Guest guest
Hi Phyllis - I read the article and as usual, this guy has all old info regarding the MMR controversy. Also, he doesn't mention the newest study at the Univ of Minn regarding vaccines and autism and immune reactions. The study he quotes that refutes the connection was picked appart as being faulty just after it was published. Also, he fails to mention the in the UK the government called off a 3 million pound advertising campagne to show how safe the MMR was because recent studies are showing that it isn't safe. God forbid that this guy actually does his homework. As far as the sippy cup issue - who knows... I do worry about getting those clean enough and also I had heard that they are not great for kids with language delays - I think it is something about sucking that does not promote good pronunciation. Who knows..... Anyway - this guy is a typical " these people are all wacko " type of reporter. His article is designed for people to say, " what's with all the frivolous law suits these days... " He isn't doing any real investigative reporting - He just wants a reaction. This is typical of scare tactic journalism that seems to be rampant these days. Unfortunately, this is what everyone I know will be quoting to me for the next several weeks..... sigh.... Oh well. I keep arming myself with the truth and hoping that it prevails.
