Guest guest
Interesting... I will be contacting them too just to make a point. That's ridiculous. I like the general setup of the bar Jay is talking about, with the nuts instead of the screws so you can take the shoes off. But the extra bar sticking out the sides would tick me off to no end. We co-sleep and it's painful enough just with the sharp edges of the soles of the shoes. If I had a metal bar sticking me all night I would not be terribly happy. There's got to be a happy medium or better design that doesn't include expensive clamps that break or bars that poke out the sides. hummmm... How does the adjust anyway? 2/9/2005, you wrote: >He is very nice and I understand where he is coming from the letter >is as follows > > >Dear , > >I agree with you that the red Fillauer Bars and the component parts >are >very overpriced. Guest guest
The 's adjust by using 'church keys', or whatever you refer to allen wrenches in your neck of the woods, to loosen the " Ponseti " clamp and extend each side of the bar there. Then just tighten and off you go. VERY easy. Re: Got a letter from Jay Markell about why the clamps are so expensive Interesting... I will be contacting them too just to make a point. Guest guest
From what I remember seeing in the photos, the s brace adjusts the same way as the Fillauer....I think that I will write to Fillauer too as I've had to replace those darn clamps a number of times already and Owen only just turned 2! Guest guest
Same as the fillauer except it has a single clamp that is about 2 " long so by nature much sturdier! Angel Re: Got a letter from Jay Markell about why the clamps are so expensive How does the adjust anyway?
Guest guest
Good for you guy's!! I have almost always gotten something when I e- mail or call a company with a complaint. Hopefully in the end, the price point will drop but if you all receive a few clamps in the mean time, great! & Grace > > > > > > >He is very nice and I understand where he is coming from the letter > > >is as follows > > > > > > > > >Dear , > > > > > >I agree with you that the red Fillauer Bars and the component parts > > >are > > >very overpriced.
