We are in Romeoville. It's 30 mins. outside Chicago. I know of 3 or 4 other

Illinois families all up this way. I attended a get together once, but i

don't think another one has been planned. Maybe we should think about that.

Absolutely! I'm in Crystal Lake, and would love to get together with you

all! Quetzie is 3, the same age as Christian. I would volunteer to organize

something, but I would be unable to do anything until June...I'm a Nursing

student

and mother to 2 and work on the weekends...whew! If you don't mind waiting

till summmer, I'd love to help coordinate something simple but fun!

We could start trying to connect on it. Are you all planning on attending

the convention? I know we are trying to raise our funds to attend. (Cashing in

on favors, etc. ). Summer would be best for us also. I home school our

oldest and, well, I don't have to explain to you about the uncertainty of our

Chicago weather. I'd love to hear some ideas on what you all would like to do.

(Maybe a BBQ at a local forest preserve or something. We have one around

here, in Lockport, that you can rent for $50, w/ grills and pavilion, etc.

That's one idea.) Let me know.
