Hi everyone.

I'm not online everyday, so I apologize if anything is in duplication

to other posts.

I have my 14wk checkup next week (June 3rd) and am hoping for a

little more input from the doctor.

History: Open RNY w/complications in Aug 1999. Was 285# down to size

3 and 138. Now 13 wks pregnant and weighing 152#. Not sure what I

weighed in the beginning...didn't find out until I was near 7wks.

Had vaginal u/s at 7.5 wks. All looks good, 156 bpm, I've been

taking 4mg of folic acid daily and been on 1cc of B12 injections

weekly...now that's along with my prenatal.

I've seen so many posts about taking an additional " childrens

vitamin " or one-a-day supplement...asked my dr about it and he said I

didn't need it.

I'm renting a home fetal doppler and listen to the heartbeat every

morning (have been since my tenth wk) and it sounds excellent,

however, I'm showing BIG TIME and the heartbeat is still ALWAYS found

deep within my pelvic bone area.

isn't the heartbeat supposed to be moving upward at this point?

Should I take the extra vitamins or just accept my dr's " okay " not to

take it?

I'm also having a hard time eating. No sickness of any kind, but I

am hungry, but not feeling like eating. Or I should say nothing

sounds good...I've been forcing myself to eat six SMALL meals a day.

I'm afraid that the baby isn't growing sufficiently or that I'm

carrying way too low in the uterus.

any thoughts are appreciated!
