Guest guest
Hi All, I just wanted to do a quick post and let you know Braeden was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. We are all happy he is home and we are thankful his hospital visit was only a week this time. He lost a pound. Which doesn't sound like a lot but it is about 18% of his body weight. He is in good spirits though and back on full food. We were able to get a neurological consult when he was in the hospital and the neurologists have agreed to see him and do an e.k.g. to check and see if he is experiencing " petite mal " seizures. This is great news because I've been trying to get him in to see the pediatric neurologists and I was on a waiting list just for an appointment and they are booking new patients for next year! So, now we are actually going to get an e.k.g. done on May 4th. Hopefully, now we can enjoy the coming spring and summer without any hospitalizations. Braeden was going to be switched to a g-tube on April 1st but, now his GI wants to wait a month because of his recent hospitalizations. So, we are looking forward to that and hopefully move him to bolus feeds. He really wants to move around but, he gets tangled up in his feeding tube. Thank you everyone for the prayers and positive support. This list serve has been great for us! Take care and God Bless, Saundra, Mom to Braeden(RSS, 18pounds Prosilic, Mirilax, Levoxyl, 24 hour G-J tube fed Petamin Jr. 50CC/hour ) and Delaney 17 month old twins
