Guest guest
le, Wow!!! Congratulations on Coby. Mathieu still has along way to go for a diagnosis, but we have our next appointment with Endo to review his abnormal results and discuss further testing. GI also wants to take part in some studies to rule out any syndromes with Endo. We have an appoinment this morning with the allergist due to his problmes with milk and soy. They want to rule out other allergies and ensure that isn't an issues either. My hubby is taking him to that today since I have school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have to pick my appointments, especially during Midterms. Since the 9th is the BIG appointment with Endo and GI I decided to wait and go tot hat one. Thank goodness for Cell phones. My hubby can call me if he has any questions at all. School has definitely been good for me. I am doing pre-requisites for my RN degree. I eventually want to be Nurse Practicioner. I can't tell you how thankful I am to get the chance to go two days a week and have a little me time. It helps not dwell on my poor Mathieu. After all, when I think of how bad it is, I relaize it could always be worse. Good-luck le, Jay Brethen Mom to 5 yrs old (healthy as a clam)and Mathieu 14 months 17 pounds 27 1/2 inches (undiagnosed failure to grow, but getting closer to an answer!!!) They are 16 months old now. Coby now weighs a whopping 18.2 lbs and is 29 in long. He is still not walking but he just got his AFO's about 3 weeks ago and he took 4 steps to me all by himself at therapy this week. I almost cried. I also decided to go back to school in the midst of all of this. So 2 nights a week I get to go to school and see other adults. I really enjoy it. We'll see how much I enjoy it when I get into the more coarse specific classes.
