Heidi C. Update( Feb.10th)

Heidi just called me and we had a nice time chatting.

As Malisa mentioned Heidi is in a Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Ma. due to

a stroke she had. At the Rehab. Hospital she is learning to do things with her

Right hand and arm; like pulling, pushing, turning door knobs, turning her

scooter, learning how to give herself her shots with her right hand, etc. I am

sure if we think about it we really take for granted all the little movements we

do every single day. She was left handed but because of the stroke she lost all

her functions on her left side. So she is know learning how to be a right-handed

person. She told me she is doing pretty well.

Like Malisa said in her post, Heidi is really determined to push forward and to

beat this latest obstacle in her life. She is one strong and courageous person.

She told me to please let the list know that she does read some of the posts,

but due to her eye problems and the double vision it is hard for her to keep up.

She said Hi to All on the list.

The good news is that tonight Heidi told me she is being DISCHARGED on Tuesday

Feb. 14th. How great that she will be home on Valentine's Day with her loving

husband, and her children. She misses them all very much.

Please keep Heidi and her family in your prayers and in your thoughts.
