Guest guest
Hi Jen, I just thought I would pipe up here. My daughter had a skating accident in which she hurt her back. They thought she had compressed one of her vertebra in her lower back, (I can't remember which one) They did a Cat Scan and discovered that her vertebra was just malformed, not compressed. They told us that this is a very common thing, in many people, for this particular vertebra, and that it's not uncommon for this vertebra to be totally missing. I was surprised to say the least. Since then we've found that Kaity has the same problem with the same vertebra, but that it shouldn't cause her any problems unless she injures her back.
