In one of the baby books I've made for Zach I wrote something about giving Dr. Ponseti " longevity pills " . Like all of you, I consider Dr. Ponseti to be an angel of sorts - I have yet to encounter a doctor who is as dedicated (truly so) as Dr. Ponseti. I'm always in awe when I call him (or he calls me back!!!!) and he talks with me as if he has nothing else to do but listen to my concerns and help. Having said all that - I think it's a serious concern - what will happen when Dr. Ponseti is no longer with us. It's one I'd rather not think about - but should... You mentioned contacting Oprah or Dateline. This was big on the board a few months back (maybe it was this summer?). Many people emailed Oprah from our list, there is a letter (or at least used to be, I haven't checked lately) in the files section that can be used to send to the Media. I've emailed Oprah myself (a couple of times actually) and I know 's wife sent a wonderful letter to her as well. Although this topic has been discussed over and over again - I'm always glad when I see it come up again. That's what's needed to keep us motivated to get the word out there - you know what they say about the squeaky wheel? We've got to keep on squeakin! Thanks for bringing this topic up - as I will pull out our clubfoot story, dust it off, tweak it and send it AGAIN!!
