Guest guest
--Rosie, Does your son have terrible skin rashes? mine is scratching so much he is bleeding. Not only that, but, he has very dry, scaly skin on his legs. My husband had to take him to the md for cream. His face is red and his lips have that red soreness around them. I think he is due for a whole battery of tests, elisa, rast, casein and gluten peptide, you name it. His behavior seems to be that hes more hyper and hes on meds for it. I think the outbreak was caused by a 2 day cheat-he got a hold of apple pie and a cookie in the last week. He also had 2 day urine accidents this week. He really needs the diet. Anyone who can help on this one. Thea - In GFCFKids@y..., semak4@c... wrote: > Well, we got the results of my son's ELISA test back a week and a > half ago, and he reacted to 23 foods! I make meatballs and pancakes frequently, and have used either flaxmeal-in-water or duck eggs in both, successfully. In fact, I made my gfcf soy/corn/hydrogenated fat free brownies today with duck eggs for the first time, and it worked well. Lorilyn

Guest guest
I make mine without eggs. I use rice, onions, peppers etc. and tomato sauce (about two times the amount of the rice). Guest guest
Rosie, Due to my son's many allergies, I don't use egg in my meatloaf. I do grind up a few pieces of GFCF bread and use that instead.] Phyllis ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
I've posted previously about my son reacting to 23 different foods on the ELISA test recently. I have a question regarding natural flavors. If something is verified as being GFCF, suckers or jelly beans for instance, but they are fruit flavored or, less specifically, have " natural flavorings " , do I need to be concerned? My son reacted to citrus fruits as follows: grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange, tangerine. All had an antibody rating of 1, probably because we never really gave him those foods. He also reacted to bananas (3), and cantaloupe (2). His teacher asked me about safe jelly beans today and I had some on hand from the Chocolat Emporium that I took in for my son but then I got to thinking about the flavorings. Help!
