My husbands perspective about RSS

It hasn't been a year since Pippin was dx with RSS. But I like to

think we've come to terms with it. My husband wrote me a poem

for Valentines Day. I'd like to share part of it with you.

....Well Pippin last year at this time we didn't know

that RSS is why you don't grow.

But now were on the right track and we won't look back

although it doesn't seem fair and is sometimes more than I

can bear with meds/tubes/pumps and venting nightly but

then through it all I see you smile so brightly

makes be forget all of the strife, because I know in my heart

we will have a wonderful life.

And Tully what can I say you make me so proud each and every day.

The way you love your sister is a sight to behold, it's hard to

believe you're only 3 years old....

Thanks for letting me share a part of my wonderful husband. It's

because of his dedication and hard work to our family that we are

Team Lapish. Sometimes in MY " crazy " RSS world, it's hard to stop

and remember that Dan is part of this too, and that instead of taking

him for granted and just expecting him to know what I want and need

and getting angry when he can't anticipate I will appreciate.

Jenyfer,

I have to tell you, I LOVED your post! It was amazing and it made me

CRY! What a beautiful poem Dan wrote for you, and I am sure you are

going to be treasuring that FOREVER! It is so great that you have

such a loving, and caring husband! WOW! That was great.

By the way Jenyfer, I did get the invitaion from Pippins fundraiser.

I got it Saturday! How cute is that?? What a great job you did on

it. I loved the thank you card. A very cute picture! :o)

You seem to have a terrific family!
