Guest guest
Hi, After finally getting the casts off and her Tenontomy done she has settled into her boots brilliantly. No crying, sleeps brilliantly and no sores/marks. was brilliant sending them to me in the UK. Also thanks for everyone advice regarding her foot and boots. Would never have found out her foot was Atypical without your help. Many thanks. Anyway Im more positive, (even though she has only been in the boots 2wks!!) She is five months old and wondering what things I should avoid and what are good for toddlers with Talipes. I think I read walkers were bad, as babies tend to go on tippy toes in them. What about bouncers? The ones that hang from a door? What about little sit and ride vehicles and little bikes when they are bigger? Any other thing which I can or cant use on her? Also I know its along way off but is things like rollerblading and ski-ing a no no? What should I avoid? What is good for my toddler to keep her foot in right correction. Keeping her heel down etc.? Any input appreciated as I havent got a clue. Thanks your alway very helpful Julz and Aurora (Atypical right foot) Sunderland Royal Hospital, UK. (Ponseti acredited).
