Hi Yuuko,

We didn't have any problems with Jake's carseat or stroller. He had

just a left clubfoot, but there was plenty of space in the carseat &

stroller so I think that even if he'd had casts on both, it wouldn't

have been a problem.

We didn't have any problems while Aleksander was in casts, but now that

he's in the FAB, we had to go out and get two new carseats (1 for each

car). We had the small, infant carseat at first. That was fine until

the FAB, then we got convertible carseats. We got the Evenflo Car

Seat, Triumph™ 5-Comfort Touch (around $109 at Sears) for the main car,

and the Graco ComfortSport (on sale at Baby Depot for $59.99) for the

secondary car. Both work great, although I think the Triumph has more

padding and is more comfortable. That said, the ComfortSport is much

easier to get Aleksander into, and that's even after crawling into the

backseat of my two-door Civic!

As far as strollers go, it seems like any of the larger strollers would

be fine. If looking for a smaller, umbrella style stroller, I'd

suggest waiting until your child is in the FAB. We had one that we

can't use because it pinches Aleksander's legs. Luckily, it was really

cheap so we aren't out much! We ended up going out and getting a

different, more expensive one. But we plan on using that one more than

the big " SUV " of a stroller we got with the infant carseats.

Thank you! I guess we'll get the infant carseat and then wait to get

the stroller. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences!

We also had the Graco Snugride infant seat at first, and that was fine with the

cast, but once he got into the FAB, he didn't really fit in it well, so we

installed the Britax Roundabout which is much more confortable for him.

Stroller-wise, we had no problem. We have both the Graco Metrolite LE & the

Maclaren Techno XT and both are fine. Like another poster said, I wouldn't stick

the child in an umbrella stroller b/c those have less padding and may not be as

comfy.
