My son has been gfcf for 9 months and corn and soy free 1month and no dyes

preservatives feingold for 3 months. He has shown many improvements in

language, is now independent at tolieting, showing some breakthroughs in social

interactions(at home anyway) can sit and do some classroom table time

worksheets ect. and sit in a group and listen to a story. He is 6 and will be

in Kindergarten next year is in a early childhood pre-k special ed class right

now. I am just wondering if there will be chance he could still fully recover

from autism. His school seems to be getting tired of me asking them to keep

their rooms safe from food crumbs ect. At least once a week he eats something

left on the floor at school that he shouldn't. Even after all of his

improvements I think they are feeling since he isn't fully recovered the diet

isn't that important. How much time has it taken other kids that are on the

diet and could be considered to now be in the " normal or average range "

School really sucks right now.

If it was a life threatening allergy would they still feel this way?
