Maybe someone can help me with this. My son has a terrible allergic reaction to

mosquitoes. From end of April till first frost in late Sept.-early October he is

on the prescription antihistamine Atarax daily 50 mg and if he gets a bite it is

increased to about 90 mg. In prior years, without taking Atarax, he ends up in

hospital being treated for cellulitis within hours of each bite. It is

imperative that he be covered for the allergy obviously. Does anyone know if it

is a GFCF drug? In addition, when he does get a bite he sometimes ends up on

Cechlor to fight infection, which I believe isn't GFCF. What is a safe

antibiotic for him to go on?

I'm questioning now because his teacher e-mailed today saying that one of her

students came in with a mosquito bite today. AGHHHHH!!!
