Thought I would reply to this one. Aspirin and Advil (Motrin and Ibuprophen) are

very hard on the stomach. For those of us that have had Gastric Bypass, we are

at risk for ulcers and bleeding due to these meds...

As far as pregnancy...Advil/Motrin/Ibuprophen should only be taken under the

supervision of your OB doc...These meds can decrease the amniotic fluid levels

and at a certain point in the pregnancy they can cause a premature closure of

(one of) the ductus.
