Guest guest
Hey, Lori. I have had this problem later in my pregnancy as well.......seems strange considering I've had increased discharge but less lubrication. I have found that the regular Walmart/grocery store/drug store brands of lubricants such as KY and Astroglide just don't get it. Check out one of the more " intimate " stores in your area and invest in some good stuff. We have a sample bottle of " Desire " and it works pretty well....it's water soluable and greaseless, but seems to do the trick. Also there are many other brands out there that work much better than the standard KY and Astroglide. Most people just never venture past Walmart to look for them. Good luck!! I promise it will be worth your time to look for something.........also, if you feel uncomfortable going in one of " those stores " you can always search online for lubricants and order that way through perhaps Adam and Eve.com or something of that nature. Guest guest
In my pregnancy with I had the opposite problem.....excess lubrication. This pregnancy I have had no lubrication. We went to the special adult store because I didn't like the smells of the stuff in the regular store...How can you get sexy when it smells like the doctors office? Uggh! They have some nice smells or no smell at all and water soluable so they wash off easily. And if you are too embarrassed to go to the adult store you can always buy something off of ebay. There are quite a few sellers who specialize in that kind of thing...but then again they don't have the smaller sample sizes available at the adult store....Cause it stinks to be stuck with a big bottle of something that doesn't work. I'm not even pregnant, and we're doing well to make it once a month. I have a friend in a very unhappy marriage who probably has had sex less than twenty times in fourteen years. So here goes... I am having a real problem with having little to no lubrication during intercourse. This is all so weird to me, because in the past, I have always had plenty (if not too much) lubrication. It is making intercourse very uncomfortable for both me and my husband. We have tried a few of the lubrication gels and jelly's, but to be honest, they seem to make it worse. I am 29 weeks, and am hoping this is all due to hormones etc...Any words of experience or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Lori p.s.
