Guest guest
I recall reading this post, but thought I didn't have anything to add since you were seeing a midwife (for me, a cesarean is the only way for me to have a baby and not many midwives feel this way- lol) It's safe to say that I leave most midwife posts alone. For me, there was no thinking about trying to have a vaginal birth after labor (after a primary c-section). I wouldn't labor again for anything (bad bad bad labor- 20 hours- finally heart rate starts dropping & fetal distress from a nuchal cord around his neck- STILL had to be cut). NO MORE LABOR FOR ME EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! I vote for a repeat section!! Nice little cut, heals very nicely, baby is safely delivered without traumatic birthing events, kinda sore for a couple of weeks but nothing compared to the sheer joy of becoming a Mommy all over again! c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!!c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!!c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!!c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!!c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!! I've never had my membranes stripped. I've seen membranes stripped and the patient certainly acts like it hurts. lol Sometimes (most of the time) it helps things along slowly though. So, since I recall WHY I didn't post back to you, am I off the hook? Thanks ! Sheila oh, btw, you're sure to get more opinions I think but this is just my very OWN!]
Guest guest
can you tell I am an avid believer in a cesearean???? LMBO! On that note, I do think OB Doc's tend to doe them more frequently than is nescessary! You have a valid reason though (repeat section). Again, I chant..... c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!!c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!!c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!!c-section!!! c-section!!! c-section!!! sheila L&D/NICU RN
