Guest guest
Hi Jenni, I am 7.5 mos post op and 4.5 months pregnant. I was experiencing a lot of hair loss and I asked my OB if I could take gelitan tabs. He told me that it was ok to take them, they are just a form of protien. I have been taking them for about a month now and have noticed a big slow down in the hair loss. How much have you lost total? And how much do you have to lose? I have lost 125 pounds and still have 80 to go. I really wanted to get to goal before getting pregnant, but oops, that didn't happen. My husband and I had been trying for 12 years to get pregnant, we went through infertility testing and found out it was my husband who had the problem. I guess I did too because of my weight. Well we were trying to be careful, but not careful enough. Anyway I am very excited to be having our miricle baby. We had one child 14.5 years ago and then adopted 5 years ago. Now I am pregnant with our 3rd child. Sorry so long. Good luck with the hair loss and pregnancy.

I may try that especially if I keep loosing more hair! there is hair everywhere all over my house !! But I have so much hair you can not even tell Any way Are you still loosing being pregnant?? I have already lost 3 lbs. and I am 7 weeks. Which some people do loose weight when they first are pregnant but not me I always thought WOO HOO I am pregnant I am eating what I want . But this time I have been good so far. How Often do they check the growth of the baby ? They have 3 ultrasounds in the next 13 weeks. Congratulations on the baby !!
