Question about miscarriage

I have had some bleeding and can't get into the doctor or the clinic

for a few days. I am not going to emergency room unless I have pain

I can't bear, this may be stupid but, can it just be alittle

spotting and a miscarriage be over? I mean I took two tests that

confirmed I was pregnant and then the bleedings started this (am) -

no major pain alittle cramping or what I thought was cramping while

I slept at night. Sometimes I can't distinguish pain, I have a high

tolerance and to be honest after bypass, Gas is sometimes more

painful then before. I feel stupid asking but maybe should I take

another test in a few days and see if it registers anything! I

guess what I am asking is - Can a miscarriage be small and painless?

I hope someone understands what I am asking - thanks alot.
