Need help describing a feeling

Hi,

My son, is 17. He sometimes gets a feeling he

describes as feeling like he's outside his body. When

he has these feelings he also complains of feeling

dizzy, being tingly (has periphral neuropathy),

falling, being tired and he's got nausea and vomiting.

I think that the problem is autonomic in nature.

Anybody else ever have this feeling? Do you have other

words to describe it?
