Guest guest
Hi Donné, It's so great that you are able to get good treatment for your daughter in SA. We would usually put a pillow under our daughter's legs, supporting the feet and knees so the knees were bent. It seemed to put her back into a more comfy postition. We co-slept with her and would readjust her if she got into a position that seemed uncomfortable. Jenna could also just be at an age where it's getting harder for her to fall asleep on her own. Do you think she is really tired? With our 19 month old, he is alternating now between 1 and 2 naps a day so his tiredness at bedtime is changing. Another thought... if she is having the shoes put on right before she goes to sleep she may be fighting them a bit until she gets used to them. Maybe try to put them on an hour before bedtime? HTH, & Emma Struggling to fall asleep Hi My daughter Jenna has bilateral CF. She is a year old and wearing her shoes 12-14 hours a day. We are in South Africa and are very glad to be seeing a doctor following the Ponsetti method as there are only a few in SA at present. Jenna is struggling to get comfy to fall asleep at night. Its feet in the air, half up the side of the cot, tossing and turning etc... She is a good sleeper, once she's asleep. We have checked the width of the bar and it is as wide as her shoulders, if not more. Any sage advice or handy hints? Regards Donné
