Please respond to Kathy from Sacramento!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well! I just got an email from Kathy from

Sacramento. She is having some problems joining RSs-support. I gave

her some advice (hope it works! :-)), but in the meantime, thought I

would " jumpstart " the dialogue with her by posting her questions

here. Hopefully, a few of you can respond to her until she gets her

account set up with yahoogroups. Take care everyone. I miss you!

All is well here. I'm half-way through my chemo (4 treatments down,

4 to go..Am sporting a glorious bald head and am enjoying the

reprieve from shampoos and hairdryers...But, feel okay.) has

gone back to nighttime GHT shots.He got tired of being " brave " and

said his muscles/legs were long enough. he wanted to quit. We're due

to see Dr. H. and will see if her pep talk revs him up again).

Back to Kathy: She is from Sacramento and has a young son named

Willie. Her email address is ras11kes@.... Here were 3 of her

questions:

---> For 3 months, we've glided along on Periactin for his appetite

and I've revelled in the fact that my insticts were right. The past 2

weeks have not been so glorious, however, as he has stopped taking

any formula and is lethargic and grouchy. Did you go through

similar ups-and-downs?

---> Have you been to the conference in Chicago?

---> Do you know of any good books/resources on feeding these kids?
