Just for my answer here, I was on fertility pills for 7 years after we had our

daughter. Finally, I decided it was my turn to have a life and that I would

never have any more children and that was fine at that point. When I had my

surgery and started loosing weight, we were told by my surgeon, that I would be

fertile. Although we didn't believe him, we used birth control. Well, put it

this way.....we jokingly said if it was a boy, we would name him trojan!!!! So,

the surgeon was definetly right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was wondering since you were 3 years post op before getting pregnant, what

type of birth control have you been using and did you have to switch many times

before you found the right one. My daughter baby is due in June and was

considering the IUD, do you have any information on that. Thanks

This message to me has already been answered by me two or three times to

you. I don't know if you have forgotten, but I am one of the moderators here. I

am sorry that you haven't gotten the answers that you seem to be looking for

here. Are you a member of any other WLS groups? Perhaps they can help you more

there about your Birth Control (or your daughters birth control issues) than we

have been able to here. I DID NOT use birth control as I had fertility issues

and couldn't get pregnant without fertility treatment THEREFORE there was no

need for birth control!

Speaking as one of the moderator's of this list, I think we've beaten the

birth control issue to death here. I apologize again that you haven't found the

answers you are looking for. Everyone here has seen your messages time after

time and I am sorry no one has replied with what you think they should have

said.

Whoever you are asking for birth control information for, they need to talk to

THEIR OWN OB-GYN or family MD, nurse practitioner, health Dept nurse or midwife.

Speaking for myself, I will not be approving or posting any additional messages

from you regarding what type of birth control everyone is using.

I don't mean to offend, but we obviously haven't been able to help you with

this one certain issue.
