Guest guest
Hi all, these few questions would be geered at anyone with an older child not wearing the shoes brace anymore. First I was wondering if anyone has posted any recent pictures of their childs feet/foot since discontinuing the brace, a few months after shoes had been off, etc. Also I wanted to know if anyone's child after discontinuing the brace had ANY intoeing at all a few months after the shoes were removed and to what degree. I am asking because I am trying to compare I guess some intoeing I notice on and I am wondering if it is normal or if I should be concerned again. After all, she is just over 5 years of age now and I was so sure we were really out of the woods so to speak for anything furthur, but if I am not, I'm really not sure what Dr. Ponseti would say about intoeing at her age.(She went back into the brace after two months removal at age 3 because of intoeing and remained in the brace 2 years after that.) Here we are again at that 2 month period of no shoes and I'm wondering if somethings up again or if this is normal. So please, if anyone has any advice or knowlege or has even spoken to Dr. Ponseti about this in the past, I'd love to hear what you have to say. Thanks!
