Guest guest
Cheryl Everyone here has been through this in one way or another , so be strong. I do remember how hard it was. I was told just as you are that the withdrawl from of these foods is a sure sign. It was like an addict who could not get their drugs. If you think about it in this way you will see it in their eyes. It is really a crazy thing cause I wondered how could food do this , but it does. It takes an addict a while to get it together after they get off their stuff, so be patient . I think the fact that the reaction is so strong is a positive sign , even though it is hell now. You can keep it together just don't give in even though it is the hardest thing you may ever do. It was very hard . Anytime I have said it wasn't, I was lying. It will get easier though. It will pay off in your childs well being and will give you peace of mind. I remember the tears when my son wanted his favorite pizza, they were my tears . Loving a child so much that you will do anything to make it better is what it is all about. We would all be incredibly insane to continue this if it didn't work. It gets easier in time. You will become a professional GF/CF baker, shopper and cook. You will because you have hundreds of people here for you who want their children to get better , who want your child to get better. I wish my child , your child and everyones child to reach their 'God given potential with health and happiness. " Best wishes , kelly P.S. I am kind of mushy tonight.
