Guest guest
Jodi Tori had a bad diaper rash and the nurse practioner told me to use Mallox. It helps cut the acid and would clear up the rash almost over night. I just dipped a cotton ball in the Mallox and applied it. Maloy 's diaper rash Jodi, Try soaking 's bottom in warm water with some Epsom salts added. That should soothe the tender skin. Also, when you clean him with the soft cloth, use the same kind of water. You also may want to consider cloth diapers for the timebeing so that air can get to the rash. Use them while at home even if it is for a short time. Disposable diapers don't let in enough air and the stuff that makes them so absorbant slows down the healing. Even just a few hours a day will help. Jodi Z.
Guest guest
Jodi, Air drying really is important, so much that if you can let him go without a diaper some of the time it will help. I have red haired childen with very sensitive skin and we had some severe diaper rash in our house. I would also suggest putting balmex on it everytime you change him, for some reason is coats better than the others. Lastly if you think this problem will occur again, let me know and I could send you some " secret " balm that is made up by our local pharmacist!
