Guest guest
Penny, Are you giving any supplements? Chelation can affect levels of " good " minerals as well as the toxic ones. We are not chelating yet, but last summer we had a similar problem. My ds just about stopped eating after a bout of stomach flu. His appetite did not come back afterwards. I did a little research and started supplementing with zinc. One of the functions of zinc is to regulate appetite. It worked and he began eating normally again. (As a beneficial side affect, he also started going to bed at a normal hour and sleeping through. Yay!) By the way, I give the zinc at bedtime because its absorbtion can be blocked by certain foods. I take it also, and it does not upset our stomachs. I hope this helps. in FL
