" -------------------------------------------------------------- lol Chrystal! My uncle was a nurse (the reason I went to nursing school actually) and he WAS gay. lol He was an excellent nurse and every one of his patients thought so as well. I am hoping to *grow up* into the nurse he was. ================================================================= Chrystal wrote: " I had a male ob with my son and I now have another male ob after beginning this pregnancy with a woman ob " I have had both male and female OB's. I found the male more caring and attentive whereas the female (also an excellent Doctor) was more laid back like pregnancy wasn't a big deal (so she has 4 kids and I was having infertility trouble so it WAS a big deal to me). I like her and she is an excellent Dr, but my male OB makes all others I have ever seen or worked with pale in comparison! =========================== chrystal wrote: " But honestly I don't know many men who would want to be in a chat group with a bunch of pregnant women " lol also one of the best RN's I have ever worked for (he was my charge nurse) was male (not gay). He often joked about how 13 of the RN's in the ER were pregnant at the same time or delivered within a few months of each other. He said working with all of us was pure torture and that he had withstood more estrogen and progesterone than any man should ever have to endure. lol And nope, he wasn't comfortable listening to us talk about our boob pain, pelvic pressure, what type and smell of vaginal secretions we had and whether or not it could be our water breaking, best secual positions for the big-bellied pg woman- etc etc etc! lol Thank you for your post.... it brought back lots of fond memories!! lol Sheila > > Chrystal > > Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! > Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! > New Baby Boy Swenson Due July 28, 2004! > Zookeeper for 2 big dogs and 5 cats who let me feed them! > http://chrystallife.50megs.com/ > http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/seeswensonauctions/ > > >
Guest guest
I like being in here because it fasinates (sp off) me...You women are awesome and I respect you and my wife for doing what you chose to do...not only getting pregnant but having the surgery...and NO I am not GAY...Tee Hee Hee that is for anyone who thought about it...HAHA Adam & e Gaspard RNY 04.07.03 e 370/245 Adam 394/258 EDD #1 08.31.04 Kay Independent Beauty Consultant www.marykay.com/starbound107 " That which does not kill us, makes us stronger " men in the medical field & on this list My dad was a NICU nurse and transfered to the ER because alot of the mothers did not feel comfortable with a man there caring for babies. He said he was asked over and over if he was gay.... I don't really understand that attitude. Why would he need to be gay to take care of preemie and ill babies? My dad is a great nurse! I had a male ob with my son and I now have another male ob after beginning this pregnancy with a woman ob. I will take my male ob any day over a woman ob. I have found them to be more sympathetic and caring because they do not have my female parts. Some of the women ob's have been like nazi drill seargents....telling me its not that bad or back when they had their babies...blah blah blah. Or they may not have even had babies yet and are young and in my opinion inexperienced and stupid......and just damn cocky cause they have been to medical school. This is just my humble opinion.....If men want to be here and chat about this and that as long as they follow the same rules as the rest of us and are respectful..........big whoopee. But honestly I don't know many men who would want to be in a chat group with a bunch of pregnant women. Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old!
