Guest guest
- You can but, they will encourage you not to. Their approach is that elimination diets only mask the symptoms while they are after the source of the food digestion problems. In Karyn Seroussi's book she talks about fighting the symptoms of Autism and the eliminations, codliver oil, DMG, ect. all taking care of certain symptoms, and they do. CB take the approach of balencing the digestive system so that all foods are processes properly, and setting you up on a diet that encourages your body to get as many nutrients as possible from the food, bypassing as much processed, fast food, low fat, soy based foods as possible. We are actually cooking meals again cassaroles, roasts, the kind of stuff we usually don't have time to make, we are now making time for. We are adding electrolites next week to help with mushy stools. As we have problems with stimming or reactions adjustments are made. I just e-mailed the lady who told me about this that I posted this info on the CFGF site. She said she could only imagine the reaction as she was cfgf for 9 months and remembers her skepticism when her develomentalist coaxed her into trying it a couple years ago. Her 8 1/2 year old is now reading at the high school level, learning a foreign lang., computer programming, a few months ago joined a youth group. Not bad for a kid who couldn't stand to be touched four years ago. Continuing to pray for all of us to find our answers. -
