alternatives to glucose test?

hello all!

I searched the archived messages for this answer as I know its been

discussed before (sorry).

I'm at 23 weeks now but my doctor wrote out for my glucose test for

June 7th. I am only his second post gb patient and the other is

still pregnant. I can't remember the alternatives discussed here

for this test. I want to take a test-something because I'm am

really at risk for gestational diabetes. My doc said its something

like 50 g of sugar?! I don't even dump (I just get BAD gas) but I

don't think I've had 50 g at once either. Help-any suggestions?
