Guest guest
Hi , We have twins turning 4 on 2/4. Becca (non RSS) is in a toddler bed (but about to get a twin as she is outgrowing the bed). Her crib converted to a toddler bed so there was no reason for us to do anything else. We didn't even convert it until she was 3 because she liked her crib. (RSS) is still in a crib and not a bed. We are very concerned about moving him to a bed because of his pump. He is behind on a lot of things and we aren't sure he will understand not to get out of bed until we disconnect him. That being said, everyone that I know transitioned their children from a crib to a toddler bed first. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Good luck, Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) almost 4 year old twins
Guest guest
My oldest son is currently in a toddler bed. He has a had time with the bigger twin beds as well and the smaller bed has worked very well for us. I know what you were saying about your mother too. My mom tried telling me the same thing when Keigan had an ear infection and was throwing up. She said, " You wouldn't rush Tristian to the doc for that. Your overreacting and treating Keigan different because he's small. " All I could say was yeah ok...sure. Of course my Mom is kind of a wack I think that bothers me more then anything because we try so hard not to treat them different (as much as possible) and then someone comes along and says you aren't doing a good job of it. Maybe I just overreact but it's like they are saying you are a bad parent. Just bugs me > > > Date: 2004/01/13 Tue PM 07:53:18 EST > To: RSS-Support > Subject: Re: Poll - Question regarding type of bed > > Mommy to Keigan 4-15-03 (RSS) and Tristian 9-26-
