Hi all,

I'm sorry I have not been participating more with the group. I was out of

town for 1 1/2 months and had only limited access to the computer. Welcome to

all the newbies. I hope everyone is doing well. I am way behind on mail.

Anyway, I need some advice. I have been sick for quite awhile and the docs

are giving up on me. It started out with a bad bladder infection or bladder

cystitis. They put me on Cipro. Within a week or so, my CPK level was high

and I went into rhabdomyolisis (sp?). I was visiting my parents at the time

and had no access to docs and didn't want to be hospitalized so I treated

myself with constant fluids and rest. The CPK and rhabdo went away but I'm

still sick. I'm back in Florida now and they have been running lots of tests.

My white blood count is high (17) as well as platelets, red blood cells and

others I don't understand. There are a few low readings also. My blood

pressure is fluctuating all over the place. 106/46-142/110. And that's on

high

blood pressure pills. I'm very sweaty, have a bad headache, dizziness, body

aches, nausea, abdominal pain etc. They ultra sounded my entire right sound

thinking gallbladder which was fine. My liver did show some kind of deposit

which could indicate chrossis (I don't drink) so I have to see a specialist.

Other than that there is no sign of infection or illness. I just feel like

garbage and it seems different than normal mito. I have had high WBCs before

and the docs have ignored them. Does anyone have any advice or similar

episodes? I really need to get healthy. I need to go back to work soon. Em's

dad is not paying child support and I need to pay bills. To compound things,

my grandma died this morning from cancer and I'm too sick to travel to the

funeral. Sorry so long.
