Guest guest
Hi Amy, Yes, you should definitely plan on being there unil the early afternoon. Bring toys, books etc. There is a cafeteria in the basement and a little cafe on the first floor. There is also a 's and a Mcs on First Avenue and some deli's on York. When you get there, go inside and sign in. Then go back outside and commandeer a bench. The waiting room is way to small to spend any time in. Just tell them that you will be in the hall. Other than that, it sounds like you have all the records she might want ready to go. I work a 10 minute cab ride away from the hospital. If you need anything, feel free to call me at . Guest guest
Amy, We will miss you by a day, we will be there the April 9th. Too bad, because my son Jake is 4 also. The boys would have had fun playing while they waited. Judith is right, grab a bench outside the office ....the waiting room is tiny. I would also add, to make sure you go into the waiting room every once in a while so Dr. H sees you. My husband always has to remind me, that we aren't going to the deli where we take a number! I just feel like once she sees us, we are usually taken. Anyone else ever notice this? Or am I crazy?? Anyway, she is worth the wait and as long as you go in there mentally prepared to spend the day, it is fine. Best of luck. Alison > We have our first appointment with Dr. Harbison on April 8th. Guest guest
Alison, You are absolutely right! A few times I have actually threatened to leave saying that I have another child at home and the babysitter is only staying so late. I don't bring Becca with us because: 1. It would be twice as hard to be there with 2 children and 2. I don't want to pull her out of school to go. Anyway, we go on 4/20.
