Guest guest
I can't find anywhere on the web so I thought I'd ask you guys before I called them in the morning.. I got some semisweet chocolate chips at Safeway tonight.. They are Safeway Select " Indulgence " Very chocolate Jumbo Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips. Ingredients are as follows: Sugar, Chocolate liquor, Cocoa Butter (can't find anywhere that says this is a no-no, so I'm guessing it's ok??), Soya Lecithin, Vanilla Extract, Vanillin, Salt. Also, does anyone have a source or a recipe for non-dairy whipped topping (like coolwhip)? So far I've not had any luck and need to find something similar for a recipe if possible.. Thanks! Guest guest
The chocolate chips are ok per an old post that said they were confirmed to be GFCG. I've used them without problems. The only Cool Whip alternative that I know of is called Hip Whip and I believe it's still ok and can be found at Whole Foods and other HFS. I've never used this stuff, but understand it's pretty good. ( & Malachi's mom)
