Hi Marla,

I am writing this in a larger font in hopes that you will be able to

read this.

I wish you the best of luck this Friday with your muscle biopsy. I

hope you are able to get the answers that you need. Do you know if

they are going to be doing a " Fresh " muscle biopsy? And are they

sending it out to another lab for processing?

I noticed you stated that you started on the Mito cocktail after you

saw the MDA doc and that it has improved your muscle strength, which

is a good thing. Have you stopped taking the cocktail for a few weeks

or a month before going for the biopsy? I know that some Doctors want

you to be off of the supplements before having a muscle biopsy done.

Just want to let you know that you will be in my thoughts and in my

prayers. I hope everything goes well. Please update us when you can.

Hugs,

Ann-Marie

Marla-

We will be praying for you.

Make sure to take a copy of the anesthesia recommendations from the

UMDF, such as avoidance of lactated ringers.

http://www.umdf.org/mitoane.pdf is the direct link to the UMDF's

anesthesia recommendations.

Godspeed,

Ann
