I am 16 weeks today...and yes, my husband is a blessing. I don't know

what I would have done without him...

It has been a rough month...and because of the stress of it all, we have

had a few scares with the baby. (Spotting...blood pressure spiking..)

Losing my mom was the single most difficult thing I have ever

experienced...the only thing coming close was watching her in her battle

with awful pain everyday for six years. I look for small blessings in her

passing...and just over a month later, sometimes it isn't easy to find

them...but a few that I have found is that she knew before she passed away

about the baby...which is our first...and was excited about it. We also got

to be with her...and we got to tell her how much we love her ...and knew

because of how hard she tried to fight, how very much she loved us. She left

behind ten grandchildren...with ours on the way...four children...hundreds

of people whose life she touched with her struggle and courage...and a

legacy of love and compassion that I could never even begin to put into

words. I guess I need to believe she had to go...because her little body

wasn't strong enough to watch over all of us anymore ...which she loved to

do... so God took her, so she could.

Thank you for listening...and being there...And yes, my day did get

better..(smile)...

I think this board is a blessing...and those like you who maake a

difference...and make others hearts smile...
