I've also been getting these unreturned email messages for stuff I didn't

send and also a whole lot of German messages. I didn't think of it being a

yahoo thing, but will look into it too.

anyone elses yahoo mail get hijacked this

week?

I nver use my yahoo email account but checked it this week. I had

about 200 return emails that had supposedly been sent FROM ME using my

yahoo email address........and they were all " undeliverable " messages.

These were all messages sent to various yahoo group boards...mostly

Xrated type boards. Then I looked in my bulk email and there were

about 100 more that were all sent in German language. These too were

messages sent to yahoo groups. Anyone know what would cause this or

having the same problem? Just curious, it freaked me out a bit and I

changed my password. Its almost like someone got my email address and

tried using it to send a buttload of spam mail to made up addresses.

It makes me wonder how many messages were sent and

delivered.........

Saw something about the German messages on the news the other day. They

recommended you set your email to only allow English messages through. My

computer has been hijacked by several different adware/spyware companies this

week. My virus protection doesn't help one bit... it does enough to say... " Oh,

hey! You've got some funky stuff on your computer... Good luck getting rid of

it! "

Yeah it is German political propaganda. They pulled up an old trojan

that has pretty much been dormant and turned it into a spam program to

send political emails. They spoofed my AOL account the same way. It

is very annoying, but harmless according to mcafee. Of course those

people that are actually infected with the trojan should get rid of

it. Just cuz your email account got used doesn't mean you are

infected, just that your address is in someone's address book that is.

It should be over now or soon.
