New member /concerned about younger sister

Hi:

I just found about the RSS-Support and at the moment became

member.Iam so glad to have had found this,I needed to hear from

others and share similarities and compare suggestions.

I dont know where exactly to start? So many terms are just new to

me, I need so much more to learn.I am 28 and my younger sister (14

years) is diagnosed with the RSS. My parents,my family we've known

this long ago, somehow I think we could help improve in different

ways,and am also concerned if my sister can actually grow up to

live a normal life(specifically completly independent, married?)Im

probably anticipating much, but as a woman and her older sister it

does pass my mind and Id wish so much she could ; but the way I see

her,Im just not sure.

We live in Puerto Rico and dont know (at least not yet) of anyone

else with the RSS. Sometimes I think that our resources here are

very limited,the programs and services arent the best .

I will gather more info, and share later on what exactly shes been

through the history and pass this on.I would appreciate any kind of

feedback and hope to hear and learn much more from this.
