Guest guest
Hello again to all of you out there! Not sure if you remember me, but my name is and I had surgery just over a year ago on March 28, 2003 and have so far lost 189 lbs. I found out I was pregnant when I was just about 3 weeks along (VERY early) so it was a long first trimester with many worries but I am now over a year post op AND out of my first trimester! *yay* Hubby and I heard the heartbeat for the first time Monday this week and I balled like a baby! We have had 2 ultrasounds just to check on things due to some early pregnancy bleeding but all is going well so far and my OB is happy with everything. I managed to not lose as much between visits this time as well, since Ilost about 17 lbs during my first trimester in total and I wasnt even sick or nauseated at all! Anyway, that was my " re " introduction for those who didnt remember me or wasnt on here when I last posted. My silly question to you all out there who are further along or have been there since WLS is, although I havent gained an ounce of weight my body seems to be feeling very werid in my clothes. Yes, I know your abdomen is SUPPOSE to start protruding and all of that, but when the doctor listens to the baby he or she is VERY low just above my pelvic bone, but my upper abdomen above my naval is pooching out and looks almost rounded and swollen! I mean, I am 4 months now, so I guess it would be reasonable to start showing, but it isnt making sense to me for the baby to be so low and me poochin so high... My pants are tight in the waist, and i havent gained anything! Am I nutso for even worrying about this? I HATE this stage of knowing Im pregnant but not " looking " pregnant and feeling like I would look silly in maternity clothes since Im not realy " showing " yet but they feel more comfy to me already.. BIG downside is they make me fell like I look " FAT " again instead of pregnant! HELP!!!! Hubby keeps encouraging me that I am pregnant, NOT fat, and I havent gained any weight even, but this is very hard to deal with all at once! Ok.. I will end my long book now.. Sorry!
